What WE did last summer!
Hi everyone. Wow what a summer we’ve had! It’s been a wonderful mixture of old favourites and exciting new activities, and as usual, the time flew way too quickly.
Amongst the highlights was a visit by a whale shark to our very own Tathra Wharf! He hung around long enough for a couple of brave local lads to jump in for a very close encounter!
Darrel’s close encounter was also of a fishy type. He hauled in ‘Merv’ the massive 33-pound Mulloway about two minutes before a colossal thunderstorm. What a beauty!
Frankie J and local muso Garry Jones entertained us during balmy summer nights. Frank found some fun ways to get the kids involved with tambourines, cow bells and bongo drums. At these very popular ‘gig nights’, we encourage all our guests to join in with lots of surprising singing and dancing talents. Check out our video “What WE did last summer” on our homepage.
Our culinary offerings are becoming a real feature at Tathra Beach Family Park with guests coming from far and wide to attend our famous Friday pizza nights. We’ve now introduced a ‘Spud’ night where we throw mammoth potatoes into the wood-fired oven, pull them out a couple of hours later and fill them with bolognese sauce, cheese and bacon, sour cream and chives. Make sure when you’re booking your next stay that you don’t miss out!
