Blue sky days, new faces & more

Time has flown since our last newsletter in Easter and the park has been absolutely buzzing with activity. We’re thrilled by our current bout of park renovations, with large and small changes noticeable daily. The four cabins closest to the Beach Barn have been closed for a major overhaul and are now looking fantastic, ready for the spring. The grounds are also due for a face-lift with work to start soon.

Although Australia’s weather has proven to be frighteningly erratic this year, Tathra has luckily avoided most of its ferocity. We’ve enjoyed our typical ‘Blue Sky’ winter and have welcomed weather-weary travellers from around the country.

The team at Tathra Beach wish you a happy & fun filled Easter & Anzac holiday

We’ve had a fantastic year at the park with lots of improvements both large and small. Our reception building has undergone a major facelift and our grounds have received a smarten up too.

michelle-frank-justin-neil-lesleyOne of our newest acquisitions is the wood-fired pizza oven in the beach barn, designed to take the pressure off the cook of the family. You may also have noticed the introduction of recycle (yellow-lid) bins throughout the park in our effort to offer you a more environmentally friendly service.

Newsletter - Spring 2010

Nature at its best

mother-whale-and-babyThe weather on the Sapphire Coast is quickly warming up and what a spectacular time of year it is! We’ve had whales coming within 200m of the shoreline directly in front of the Park have visited us almost daily. The shows have been remarkable with several calves putting on a beautiful performance. The water is crystal clear and the surf has been providing one of nature’s most popular playgrounds for young and old alike.
